In part three of the Honeywell Industrial Controls Training Series, Matt covers PID control as it pertains to tuning an industrial control such as the Honeywell UDC 3200. Matt will demonstrate how to set up a Honeywell UDC 3200 control loop right out of the box. Just in case you cannot get your control loop tuned with the parameters that typically

work, Matt walks us through industrial control concepts such as auto tune, adaptive tune and fuzzy logic, which are all available on the Honeywell UDC 3200. In addition, Matt covers different types of control input signals like the type J and K thermocouples. He then demonstrates the correct way to scale a 4-20 ma signal. These are just a few topics covered in this informative Honeywell industrial controls training class, stay tuned for Part 4. Great teaching on 4-20 ma verses 0-10 volt. Well done Matt
Hi,
i have a question regarding the control of a burner controled with Honeywell UDC.
for my aplication the burner work with 2 stages. so i want to know if Honeywell has an specific model of UDC for this aplication and which part number should be.
thank you
Rogello, If you want a relay output for each stage. You could program the first relay to be the control output that goes on-off per the set point and control differential. The second relay would be set up under alarms as a “deviation from set point” to work in conjunction with the control set point. Adding another relay for alarm purposes would get you a part number:
DC2500-EE-0000-200-00000-E0-0
Do you have on site hands-on training for honeywell udc controllers. or is there any other video clip that has a detailed instructions to program udc controller in a different application.
