The FX Appliance is loaded with integration expertise and does a lot of heavy lifting behind the software curtains.

In a nutshell, the FX Service is there to allow all the functions of the FX Appliance to work. Basically, JCI has created an appliance that sits on top of the Niagara Framework. The FX Appliance was built to enable time saving functions like: automatic graphic creation, new station (batch import) wizards, simple integration of N2 and BACnet points, support for mobile devices and mobile device graphics, schedule/link/point group/point summary managers, and launching PCT from the FX Workbench interface.
