“The Times They Are A Changin’” Bob Dylan said this in a song in 1964, and our very own Ken Sinclair echoes this sentiment in 2016.
If you missed the October 30th Episode of ControlTalk Now The Smart Buildings Video Cast, you missed our awesome interview with Ken in which he lays out the changes that are afoot in the Building Automation and Smart Buildings controls world. Make no mistake, these changes will have a dramatic effect on all of us. So if you missed the show, no worries, you can see the interview with Ken right here right now.
Ken is the owner and editor of AutomatedBuildings.com. Ken continues his inquiry concerning the impacts of IoT and self-machine learning in the BAS world, as well as the rapidity of change that is circling the building automation industry. Is our HVAC industry preparing itself for the explosive and disruptive evolution or will it get hit broadside? Watch this interview and let us know what you think in comments.

Love the Bob Dylan reference in the title. Thank you for the post!
Can you guys post a suggested schedule or highlight sessions you all will be involved with at the AHR show? First time attending and its a bit overwhelming what I need to be at.
Hi Mike, lot’s to see at the show, are you more interested in controls or equipment? Ken Sinclair’s sessions are a must, we will post more info as we get closer to the show. Thanks for checking us out.
You are welcome, Ken Sinclair might have been at a Bob Dylan show back in the day, I will have two ask him:)

Thanks for the rewind, old guys like me need to be rewound, Over and over and I am a big Dylan fan and yes “The Times They Are A Changin’.”
The BYODs of today are a fraction of the size of the old tapes, and you can go anywhere in the video no rewind required. Amazing progress.
