Plan an Atlanta Training Vacation

Thanks to the handy internet and this website, we now have more people traveling from out of town for our training classes.  So if you are sitting behind a computer in a city somewhere other than Atlanta, think about coming for a visit and getting some quality HVAC training on chillers, pneumatics, VAV and/or boilers while you’re here.

The classes are taught by extremely knowledgeable independent instructors who have been in the business for decades.  Pneumatics and VAV involve hands-on training that cover the top HVAC controls brands like Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric and KMC. One of the things you will learn in class is that all pneumatic thermostats work the same but each manufacturer has different terminology and complicated ways of explaining how to set up,troubleshoot and calibrate their particular brand of pneumatic thermostat. In pneumatics class you will learn one simple method of setting up a pneumatic thermostat that will work on any brand of pneumatic thermostat no matter who who makes it. You don’t have to travel all over the country to different manufacturer facilities for training; you can just come to Atlanta.

Now here’s the lowdown on what you need to know to plan your trip.  Atlanta’s world-renowned Hartsville-Jackson airport is only about 20 minutes from the Stromquist training facility, which has a wide variety of nearby lodging, dining and shopping.  We have special rates available with nearby hotels and are happy to assist you with lodging arrangements.  Breakfast and lunch are included with the class each day, and area dinner your options include, but are not limited to, Mexican, Italian, Thai, traditional southern fare, upscale southern and upscale continental, steaks, burgers, pizza, sandwiches… you get the picture. Are you getting hungry?

Stromquist is located about 5 minutes away from the heart of Vinings, a popular, trendy area full of restaurants and shops.  We also are very close to downtown, midtown and Buckhead if you feel like venturing out a little for more shopping, dining or sight-seeing.  Consider heading downtown to visit Centennial Olympic Park, World of Coke and Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest indoor aquarium.

No matter what you choose to do, fall is a great time to come to Atlanta; the weather is mild and the leaves are in full color.  So check out our class schedule, get registered today, and start planning your training vacation! You can get more detailed information on any of the classes by e-mailing edna@stromquist.com or calling 404-794-3440.
