Half-Light® Ballast Controllers: Our new energy-saving series of Half-Light Controllers provides independent control for multiple ballast light fixtures from a single existing wall switch. Two Stage and Three Stage Half-Light Controllers can significantly reduce a building’s light output, enabling professional lighting users to cost-effectively enjoy the benefits of lighting control with just a simple toggle of their wall-based light switch.
Building Automation Systems: RIB® BACnet, LonWorks,and Ethernet Network Compatible Devices can be hard wired and used instead of more expensive multi-output controllers when a few more control points are needed, and large controllers are too much for the job. They can also be used when control points are widely spread throughout the job site. These devices have been prepackaged to save the installer the time, trouble, and expense of buying separate components and assembling them on the job. Functional Devices also offers Zigbee, AIC, and EnOcean WIRELESS Network Compatible Devices that can act singly as a (LCS) load control switch or as part of a larger network.
Lighting Controls: Shunt Relay Applications — Our Emergency Bypass/Shunt Relays are UL924 listed and suitable for shunting around wall switches in order to turn on emergency lighting in the event of the loss of normal utility power.
Energy Saving Devices: Wireless Room Energy Control System — The wireless keycard switch is powered by EnOcean’s® “energy harvesting” technology that converts the slide of a plastic keycard into a small amount of electricity. This electricity is used to transmit a wireless signal that communicates to Functional Devices’ EnOcean® enabled wireless relay that is controlling the power to the HVAC unit in the room.
