The Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) invites you to hear from industry leading experts on the exciting line-up of activities and initiatives planned for SGIP in 2014. Included in the session will be a presentation by the Smart Grid Implementation Methods Committee (SGIMC) Chair, Don von Dollen (EPRI). Mr. von Dollen will discuss the 2014 SGIMC Roadmap, including its Interoperability Implementation Experience (IIE) project and upcoming case studies such as implementation experiences with Electrical Substation Automation standards (IEC 61850).

In addition to the SGIMC’s activities, Patrick Gannon, SGIP President and Executive Director, will describe how SGIP is increasing its development of information services that, amongst other things, utilize roadmaps and the analysis of the direction and timing of standards deployment to identify their most relevant “vectors of influence” within the Smart Grid Ecosystem. In addition, SGIP Chairman of the Board John McDonald, will share important SGIP announcements such as the unveiling of the recently elected 2014 Board of Directors.
