The Grass Always Seems GREENER in Someone Else’s State = The Land of the Prius

It took a visit to Southern California to experience firsthand the various and practical economic incentives — and day-to-day rewards that are made available to those who take their energy consumption serious. And driving a Prius around California will get a lone driver access to the HOV lanes while waving good-bye to a lot of stalled traffic:

“California law allows single-occupant use of High Occupancy Vehicle (HOVs) lanes by certain qualifying clean alternative fuel vehicles. A list of qualifying vehicles and frequently asked questions are provided below. Use of these lanes with a single occupant requires a Clean Air Vehicle Sticker issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Currently, there are two types of stickers that are being distributed by the DMV.”

It makes good sense to know the energy-savings opportunities available to you in your State. Curiosity, and some of Googling, led me to the DOE site that provides an incredible amount of economic incentives and important information available that could make the business difference to a wholesaler, contractor, or end-user for the remainder of 2013.
