MQTT in EasyIO controllers
Our controllers (the FS-32 and the FW-series) will be equipped with the MQTT V3.1 protocol. But, what is it?
MQTT stands for MQ Telemetry Transport. It is a publish/subscribe, extremely simple and lightweight messaging protocol, designed for constrained devices and low-bandwidth, high-latency or unreliable networks. The design principles are to minimise network bandwidth and device resource requirements whilst also attempting to ensure reliability and some degree of assurance of delivery.
These principles also turn out to make the protocol ideal of the emerging “machine-to-machine” (M2M) or “Internet of Things” world of connected devices, and for mobile applications where bandwidth and battery power are at a premium.
Two new EasyIO offices in the UK
In line with strategic plans, EasyIO is opening two new offices in the UK. We want to support the growth of both our partner network and our continued success in end user specification there.
An announcement of the new General Manager will be made in the near future. Additional resources for technical support and training are being sort now, and we will be introducing the new team shortly. EasyIO is heavily focused on customer satisfaction, and we will make all the steps necessary to support the success we are now seeing in the UK market. If you have any comments or ideas on how we can improve how we work with you, then please contact us.
New website launched
Our website had a makeover. It is now easier to navigate and we’ve added a partner section. This section is going to be a one stop shop to find manuals, firmware, sales and marketing materials and much, much more. We are now testing and fine tuning it and it will soon be accessible. In the next few weeks, partners will receive instructions on how to login. www.easyio.eu

Successful ARBS show
The EasyIO team exhibited at the ARBS show in Sydney a few weeks ago and had a very successful event. The ARBS is Australia’s only international HVAC&R and building services exhibition, hosting over 350 exhibitors and more than 8,000 visitors.
