To successfully execute our strategy, I am pleased to announce Dan Flaherty as the new VP of Sales for Distech Controls reporting to me. Dan has over 20 years of experience leading sales and marketing organizations that go to market through distribution, contractor, and agent channels in the HVAC, Security, and Fire Suppression industries.
Most recently, Dan was the Director of Marketing for the North America Channels at Johnson Controls, with responsibility for marketing programs, product and brand management, and strategy. He successfully led overall portfolio growth across 80 brands and 18,000 channel partner locations. Prior to that, Dan led the Southeast Region for Johnson Controls Products, delivering high double-digit revenue and EBIT growth across contractor, distributor, OEM, and factory branch channels. Dan also spent nine years at GE, as the leader of North America Sales for the Security and Fire business, Global Audit Manager, and various sales roles in the medical industry.
In this role, Dan will lead the Distech Controls sales team, develop innovative sales strategies, enhance market connectivity, and work to expand our customer base. In addition, he will leverage our ABS tools and cost-effective technologies to respond to and anticipate market needs.
