Veterans Day November 11, 2015 — A Green Light is a Simple Way to Show Support

greenlight_vetIf you know a veteran or have a friend or family member that is now serving, or served in the military, reach out to them and let them know how thankful you are for the service they render, or have rendered to our country. Veterans Day is your opportunity to remember and honor those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

On a special note, the Green light Beacon, located at 417 5th Avenue, New York, NY(Entrance on 38th Street), will be on view from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM for all to see during America’s largest Veterans Day parade. And, if you feel inclined, warm a veteran’s heart — change one of the lights you use to green — in a visible location — on your porch, in your home, or at your office, and keep it glowing every day as a gesture of your appreciation and support for our veterans.
