Dateline: July 17, 1902 Willis Haviland Carrier designed the first modern air-conditioning system.
Here are a couple notable moments in the History of Air Conditioning:
1922: Carrier unveiled his centrifugal refrigeration machine that pave the way to air-conditioning store,offices,and homes.
1924: The Palace Theater in Dallas becomes the first movie theater to install a Carrier AC system.
1931: AC units were added to railroad cars.
1946: The first air conditioned city bus.
1949: Boeing air conditions it’s first airplane.
1952: Air Conditioning becomes a BILLION DOLLAR business.
