Siemens has a winner with the RDY2000 Thermostat

We caught up with Siemens at the 2015 CGNA Vendor Showcase. They introduced us to several cool new products. One of the ones we like a lot is the RDY2000 light commercial thermostat. The RDY2000 thermostat that has big time features for small business solutions. The Siemens RDY2000 controls more than just temperature. With ventilation, economizer, and humidification interfaces, the RDY2000 can quickly and economically solve the needs of small business customers. From coffee shops to machine shops, the RDY2000 provides the flexibility to optimize room comfort while reducing energy consumption.

The RDY2000 can do the work of several thermostats. Proving its versatility, this thermostat can control conventional systems with up to three stages of heating and three stages of cooling, as well as heat pumps with up to two compressors and up to two stages of auxiliary heat. Perfect for commercial HVAC equipment, the RDY2000 features outputs that control humidification/dehumidification equipment, maintain indoor air quality with optional CO2 sensor, maximize energy savings with interface to economizer controls, and interface with lighting systems based on business day schedule to reduce operating costs. The unit puts advanced HVAC control strategies within reach of small businesses, without the cost of a Building Automation System. The “brains” behind its beauty allow businesses to use the onboard temperature and humidity sensors or optional external sensors (up to four) to create a customized, yet affordable solution.

The best place to get more information or to purchase a Siemens RDY2000 is from one of our friends at CGNA ( Controls Group North America). Click here to locate your closest CGNA distributor and tell them “Kenny and Eric sent you.”
