Controltrends recommends best books on Sales and Communications

Did you know that the words we speak only carry 7% of the message we are trying to communicate?  It is the last 7%. Think about it, that means that everything else we are doing is communicating 93% of the message we are trying to send.

There is good news and bad news here. First the bad news, the majority of people on the planet have no idea what their 93% is communicating. That’s right it is completely out of their awareness.

The good news is that you can learn about the other 93% and how to use this to become better at making sure your message is “gotten” by those you are communicating with.

Like it or not our success in the HVAC Industry like any industry depends on our ability to communicate. It makes sense that if you can improve how you communicate both with yourself and others  you will be more successful.

How much time do you spend on your communication skills? If you are like most people none. Yet if 93% of what is being communicated is not the words we speak then it would seem a key to being more successful is to learn and master the other 93%

I have studied with just about every communications expert on the planet I could find. The best by far is

Jerry Stocking.

What makes Jerry so special?

He has the ability to see your 93% and how it is working for or against you. He is also able in one of his workshops to have you perceive lot’s of what is out of your awareness and learn more effective patterns and ways of communicating. I have been to many of his courses. They are profound and an absolute gas!

Jerry is the best sales trainer I have ever encountered . His methods are fun and effective. He teaches honesty and taking care of people. Making a sale in Jerry’s model is all about learning, growing, and connecting.

Jerry has also written many books on communication. My favorite on patterns is called “Thinking Clearly“. Thinking Clearly explores  your 93%,  what is out of your awareness  and  exercises to make you more aware of what you are communicating. It allows you to perceive more about others and to assure what you are trying to communicate to others is what you intend for them to receive from your communication.

Jerry has a new down loadable book called “The Mind Relief Manuscript” which I have not read yet but plan on down loading this weekend.
