What steps have your organization taken to ensure that your customers, products/services and organization are safe from privacy issues and cybersecurity attacks? The CABA Board of Directors and the CABA Connected Home Council (CHC) have selected the next CABA Landmark Research Study to be “Cybersecurity and the Connected Home”.
This issue will impact on every organization that has products and services in the “IoT for the Connected Home” sector. We would appreciate it if you would take a look at this multi-client research project and join the nine (9) organizations that are already funding and collaborating on this project:
– American Family Insurance
– Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)
– Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA)
– Hydro One Networks
– Intermatic Inc.
– Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc.
– Pella Corp.
– Schneider Electric
– Southern California Edison Company
Do you believe that your organization will be immune from privacy issues and cybersecurity for the connected home? If you do, take a moment to look at these articles and videos:
The “Cybersecurity and the Connected Home” final report is expected to be valued at $150,000 and your organization can participate for a minimum of $5K. Frost & Sullivan was selected as the research firm to work with the Steering Committee and as a bonus all participants will receive a complimentary copy of their European Connected Consumer Research, titled “Home of the Future”. The project will start in late August/2015 and will be completed in approximately 18 weeks. For the complete research prospectus and recorded webinar, go to: http://www.caba.org/homecybersecurity.
