Cool New ACI Training Video: The Most Effective Way to Use a Wet to Wet Differential Pressure Transducer

Monitoring differential pressure with ACI’s A/WPR2 is a great first step in saving energy with an efficient flow system. According to some estimates, pumps account for between 10% and 20% of world electricity consumption. Unfortunately, many pumps use more energy than necessary due to inefficient flow control. Varying a pump’s speed using a variable-frequency drive (VFD) on the pump motor based on the differential pressure in the system is an efficient method to control flow and save energy. Using a VFD with your pump motor is most effective in saving energy when accurate and reliable differential pressure information is provided. The tighter your control, the more efficient your system and the more energy and money you save.

Features of the WPR2:

• Field Selectable • Field Selectable Outputs: 4-20mA, 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC

• Optional Display

• Remote Probes (no extra plumbing or 3-valve manifold necessary)

• Accuracy: +/- 1.0% FSO • Auto Zero Button
