New LightStar 300 from Terralux

Terralux is a Colorado-based manufacturer of high-powered LED lighting solutions.  Stromquist has been selling Terralux flashlights for years, and they have proven to be a fantastic tool in the HVAC field.  Technicians love them.

In February Terralux introduced the LightStar300, which is the result of years of electrical engineering and manufacturing experience as well as customer feedback. It features high/ low modes and a recessed tailcap switch to prevent accidental activation and for increased durability.  It is electronically regulated to ensure constant light output, and it has logic built in that makes the LED flicker at the end of battery life to alert the user to change the batteries. How cool is that?  Speaking of batteries, the light will run 3 hours on high mode and 24 hours on low mode and operates on 2 AA batteries.

The LightStar300 provides 300 lumens of light output in high mode, and 100 lumens in low mode. Tested against an incandescent flashlight,  the light output was shown to be 25 times that of a standard bulb.  The beam pattern is a wide spill, uniform light.

If you’re in the Atlanta area, stop by our counter and check them out for yourself.  You can’t help but be impressed by these flashlights.  If you aren’t in Atlanta, you can see them at

  1. I have several terralux lights and I recently bought the Lightstar 300 I absolutly love it. It is very versital with the low beam 100 lumens and high beam of 300 lumens it is the brightest light I have found. It is well worth the price

  2. Where can I find or buy the terralux lightstar 300.
I’ll take just about any color. I’m trying to get one for a family that holds sentimental memories.
If anyone can help I’d appreciate it.
    Thank you.
