Stromquist Atlanta will be hosting a Belimo 101 training class on Tuesday, October 30, 8:00 – 3:00. This hands-on workshop is only $20 and includes lunch. It’s a great class for new users of Belimo products and a good refresher for anyone who has used Belimo before. Some of the things you will learn:
- How to size an actuator based on damper torque requirements
- The differences between spring return and non-spring return actuators
- The control signals commonly used today in commercial HVAC
- How to select control signals based upon application
- How to mount and wire spring return and non-spring return actuators
- The key differences between 2-way and 3-way valves
- The difference between mixing and diverting valves
- How to calculate the required Cv rating for a valve
- How the Belimo pressure independent valve works
