Bacharach Announces Doug Keeports as President
NEW KENSINGTON, PA (10 Jan 2013) – Bacharach Inc., a leading USA manufacturer serving the HVAC/R industry for over 100 years, announced today that Stacy Brovitz, President, is retiring from the company and Doug Keeports has been named his successor effective immediately. Hired in January, 2009 by Mr. Brovitz, Keeports has been a key member of the executive team, serving as the Vice President, Product Development.

Doug’s credentials and background make him distinctly qualified to lead the company in the forward progress, continuing with organic growth initiatives and partnership opportunities” said Wali Bacdayan, Partner of Incline Equity Partners. “Doug’s extensive knowledge of new product development and experience with acquisitions are perfectly matched to the needs of the growing organization.”
The Company also announced the appointment of Jess Ball, Director, as Chairman of the Board and executive consultant. Mr. Ball, President and CEO of Cornerstone Assets, Inc., is an operating partner of Incline Equity Partners and serves on numerous Boards and Advisory Councils. Previously, Mr. Ball spent over 48 years as an executive at General Electric and many private companies.

Prior to joining the Company, Keeports began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in a technical leader track, with various increasing roles in product development, including Senior Project Engineer at Vocollect Inc. and Respironics (now Phillips Respironics) and Vice President of Product Development at Dormont Manufacturing. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
